Varaha’s ARR-focused projects use revegetation to remove CO2 from the atmosphere, restore ecosystems, improve biodiversity, and improve the livelihoods of communities in Southern India. Paskaia - La Mosquitia

La Mosquitia, in northeastern Honduras, holds the country's last major rainforest. Centuries of logging and frequent wildfires have turned much of its pine forest into treeless savanna. Paskaia works to reforest and restore the degraded lands with native species. Co-designed with the indigenous Miskito community, the project aims to reduce vulnerability to climate change and extreme weather while building economic resilience.

Klimaskovfonden – Bækgård Forestry

Bækgaard Climate Forest was established in 2024 and is owned and managed by the Municipality of Silkeborg. The project is one out of many new forests in Denmark provided and supported by the Climate Forest Fund. Bækgaard Climate Forest is 31 hectares with several different tree species that are adapted to expected future climate changes, including both deciduous trees and conifers. In addition, a proportion of the trees are native species.

UNDO is delivering Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) projects in the UK, USA, and Australia, and is made possible through collaboration with two key partners. Firstly, with local quarries, where crushed basalt is sourced as a by-product. And secondly, with agricultural partners, where the crushed basalt is spread on arable land and not only removes atmospheric CO₂ but also delivers a range of co-benefits associated with soil improvement.

They use Pyreg’s pyrolysis technology (P500 model), which in addition to biochar also affords local residences with green heat. As the biochar feedstock is unsuitable for traditional energy utilisation, Verora creates biochar while simultaneously eliminating a waste stream from agricultural operations.
